Ribbon Cutting held at new Pine Grove Middle School

The community celebrated the opening of the new Pine Grove Middle School at a recent ribbon-cutting ceremony. Local dignitaries and civic leaders were on hand to officially open the Lowndes County Board of Education’s newest learning facility. The project, completed by Pinnacle Prime Contractors, had a budget of nearly $25,000,000 and is adjacent to the site of the upcoming Pine Grove Elementary School (also being constructed by Pinnacle). The facility was open and ready to receive the middle school students and faculty on opening day of the 2009/2010 school year.
