Walt Gill, who founded Pinnacle in the late 1990’s after years in the construction field, oversees all aspects of the company’s processes and operations. Over the course of his career, he has had the opportunity to serve a diverse clientele, striving to provide the highest quality service from concept to completion while delivering the best product possible and customer satisfaction

Mr. Gill brings over 25 years of hands on experience in the construction industry providing a high level of expertise to all projects. He provides input for all project delivery platforms including Development Services, Pre-Construction, Design-Build, Construction Management, Program Management and General Contracting.

B. SCOTT TAYLOR, CPA

Scott Taylor has worked in the accounting field for nearly 2 decades and has extensive experience in construction processes and details related to the overall costing of development projects.

He also is active in feasibility and project viability projections involving development services and our Capital Markets Unit. Mr. Taylor can provide our clients honest insight on the viability and potential return of their projects before construction has begun leading to more project efficiency, value and return

JONATHAN KRISPIN, Ph.D.

Vice President
Human Resources

Prior to joining Pinnacle, Dr. Jon Krispin served in a variety of roles, most recently as Global Operations Leader for the Marketing and Product Development function of Heatcraft Worldwide Refrigeration, a $600 million international provider of commercial refrigeration equipment. This was preceded by experience as a Master Blackbelt in lean enterprise and six sigma process improvement methodologies, as Acting Director of Operations, and as Human Resources Manager for Heatcraft’s Tifton, Georgia Manufacturing Plant.

In addition to his direct responsibility for training, hiring, and defining roles and responsibilities for Pinnacle staff, Dr. Krispin’s process improvement, quality systems, and human resources experience and expertise are also being applied to Pinnacle’s project management process improvement. His team has defined the flow of work within project management teams and identified opportunities to improve the quality of work produced and improve efficiencies.

Scottie Orenstein provides oversight for construction operations at Pinnacle. All field and operations associates work with Scottie in his efforts to continually match our client’s needs and goals with his efforts to bring more efficiency and productivity to projects. Though safety is always paramount, Scottie understands the balance between the client’s satisfaction and a successful delivery always striving to save time and money and build value.

S. E. HARP, Jr.

Director, Business Development

Chip Harp has over 13 years of commercial banking and bank management experience. He provided the underwriting and oversight for large commercial, industrial, residential and retail development projects, some exceeding $100,000,000 in scope. This included the organization and management of associated syndicated loans.

Mr. Harp brings a wide range of financial and underwriting experience to bear for our clients through our Capital Markets Unit as well as project and client development. He assists clients in structuring, organizing, and identifying financing resources and facilities in addition to providing support in the financial viability analysis needed before any dirt is moved.

STEVE HUTCHINSON

General Superintendent

Steve Hutchinson is currently the General Superintendent and provides oversight of field activities for all projects at Pinnacle. He is responsible for directing and managing project field operations and the direction of the work and management of labor forces on all projects. Working with the Project Manager, Steve coordinates construction operations for the entire project including field superintendents, craft personnel, equipment, materials and subcontractor installation activities.

Mr. Hutchinson has over 35 years experience with sizeable At-Risk structures and has a considerable background in the construction of educational facilities and is well-equipped to provide valuable input in all phases of construction management. Further, Mr. Hutchinson ensures employee compliance with safety and quality control programs.

LEONARDO VASQUEZ

Civil Engineer

Leo Vasquez brings international experience to bear for Pinnacle’s clients. Mr. Vasquez has management experience from projects in Colombia, Costa Rica, Argentina, and China as well as management and ownership experience in the USA.

He knits together his time involved in Civil and Geotechnical Engineering with Construction Management through a deep working knowledge in the use of computer systems. He understands their application in improving operating systems and efficiency to provide a more profitable project that is completed faster and with a higher level of quality for our clients.
